App: Retumi  (“Retumi”, “the App”)

This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application **Retumi** (“App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information. It is written to support Apple App Store distribution, including App Store Connect App Privacy disclosures and Apple’s App Review expectations for privacy transparency.

By using Retumi, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

 1. Who we are and scope

Retumi is a personal productivity app for **iPhone and iPad** that helps you track items you lent or borrowed.

We do **not** operate

- a Retumi user account system;

- a Retumi backend server that stores your records for analytics or advertising;

- third-party advertising in the App.

This Policy applies to the iOS/iPadOS App distributed through the Apple App Store. It does not replace Apple’s own privacy policies for Apple ID, iCloud, App Store, or payment processing.

**App Privacy “nutrition label” guidance:** For data *we* collect from the device for our own purposes, select that data is **not collected**, subject to Apple’s current questionnaire definitions. Optional iCloud sync stores content in **your** Apple iCloud account under Apple’s control. In-App Purchases are processed by Apple.

 

3. Information processed by the App

3.1 Information you enter

You may enter or attach:

- item titles and notes;

- direction (lent / borrowed);

- person names and optional phone/email;

- issue, due, reminder, and return dates;

- return notes and activity history;

- photos (up to the App’s limit).

 

This content is stored **locally on your device** using Apple on-device storage technologies (including SwiftData / related system storage).

 

3.2 Optional iCloud sync (CloudKit)

If you enable **iCloud sync** in Settings, the App may sync the same content to your **personal private CloudKit container**

That data is associated with **your Apple ID** and governed by Apple’s iCloud / CloudKit terms and privacy practices. We do not operate a separate Who Has It cloud account for this sync.

You can turn sync off in Settings (requires App restart as described in the App). Offline changes may sync when connectivity returns, subject to Apple iCloud availability.

3.3 Purchases and entitlements

**Retumi  Pro** is a one-time **non-consumable** In-App Purchase. Purchase verification uses Apple **StoreKit** and your Apple ID entitlement. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s privacy policy and App Store terms apply to billing.

 

3.4 Permissions

The App may request:

- **Camera / Photo Library** - only to let you add photos you choose;

- **Notifications** — only for optional **local** reminders you schedule.

The App does **not** request Contacts access.

Local notification delivery, sound, and vibration depend on your device settings, Focus modes, and system behavior. They are **not** guaranteed to work like an alarm clock.

 

3.5 Backups and exports you create

If you export a backup (`.retumi`) or PDF, the file is created on your device and shared only through the system share sheet **you** control. Recipients of files you share can see their contents. Protect exported files as you would other personal documents.

 

3.6 Device diagnostics (Apple)

Apple may collect crash or diagnostic information independently under Apple’s policies when you use the App Store / iOS. That is not Retumi analytics collection by us.

 

4. Analytics and tracking

**Analytics is not collected.**

Retumi does **not**:

- integrate third-party analytics SDKs for usage measurement;

- use tracking pixels or advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking;

- sell personal information;

- share personal information with data brokers for advertising.

 

We do not engage in “tracking” as defined in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. The App does not present an ATT prompt for advertising tracking because we do not track users across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.

 

5. How we use information

Information you enter is used **only** to provide App features you request, including:

- displaying and editing your records;

- optional reminders;

- optional iCloud sync;

- PDF / `.retumi` export/import;

- verifying Pro entitlement via Apple.

We do not use your content for advertising profiling.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing occurs only in these cases:

1. **Apple** - for App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, and optional iCloud/CloudKit sync you enable;

2. **People you choose** - when you share exports/PDFs via the system share sheet;

3. **Legal requirements** - if required by applicable law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity (to the limited extent we have access; most content remains only on your devices / your iCloud).

 

7. Data retention and deletion

- **On-device data:** retained until you delete records or uninstall the App.

- **iCloud copies:** retained according to your Apple ID / iCloud settings and Apple’s controls. Managing or deleting iCloud data may require Apple account tools and device settings.

- **Exports:** retained wherever you saved or sent them; we cannot delete copies you shared with others.

 

Because we do not operate Retumi user accounts, there is no separate “delete account” flow beyond deleting App data / uninstalling and managing your iCloud content with Apple.

 

8. Security

We rely on Apple platform security for on-device storage and, when enabled, private CloudKit. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for device passcodes, Apple ID security, and careful sharing of exports.

 

9. Children

Retumi  **not directed at children under 13** (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). Do not submit personal information about children unless you are a parent or legal guardian and permitted to do so under applicable law.

 

10. International users

The App may be used wherever Apple makes it available. iCloud storage location and processing are determined by Apple. If you are in a region with specific privacy rights (for example under GDPR or similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data **to the extent we control such data**. For on-device and Apple iCloud data, many requests are fulfilled by you (editing/deleting in App) or via Apple.

 

11. Your choices

You may:

- edit or delete records in the App;

- disable reminders;

- enable/disable iCloud sync;

- refuse camera, photos, or notification permissions in iOS Settings;

- export or stop exporting backups;

- restore or manage purchases via Apple;

- uninstall the App.

 

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes should be reflected in the hosted Policy URL used in App Store Connect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy, where permitted by law.
