1. Overview

FreeD Trigger for DMX (“the App”) receives camera tracking data (FreeD) on your local network and sends DMX output (Art-Net and sACN) on your local network. We respect your privacy and collect only what is needed for the App to function on your device.

2. Data we do not collect

We do not:

• operate a user account or login server;

• sell or rent your personal data;

• use advertising trackers in the App for profiling;

• receive your payment card or billing details (purchases are handled entirely by Apple).

3. Data processed on your device

The App may process the following locally on your device:

• FreeD tracking data (position and orientation) received via UDP on your local network, according to your settings;

• DMX project files (.freedmxproj) that you create, import, or save;

• App settings (FreeD port, DMX mode, trigger slots, DMX channel values, etc.) stored on your device;

• Subscription status via Apple StoreKit to determine Free or Pro features.

This data is used only to run triggers, send DMX, and save your projects. We do not upload this data to our own servers.

4. Local network

The App requires access to your local network to:

• receive FreeD packets from tracking systems on your LAN;

• send Art-Net and sACN DMX to devices on your LAN.

Network traffic stays on networks you configure. The App does not send FreeD or DMX data to the developer by default.

5. In-app purchases and subscriptions

Pro features (e.g. unlimited enabled trigger slots, DMX Broadcast mode) are sold via Apple In-App Purchase:

• Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly (auto-renewable subscriptions), or as configured in the App Store.

Payment processing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Privacy Policy. We receive only the information Apple provides to confirm whether you have an active subscription (on your device through StoreKit).

iOS and Mac are separate App Store apps with separate subscriptions. A Pro subscription purchased on iPhone or iPad does not include Pro on Mac, and a Mac subscription does not include Pro on iOS.

6. Apple

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s terms and policies, including the Apple Privacy Policy.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

You are responsible for securing your show network, DMX devices, and devices running the App. Use the App at your own risk in live production environments.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
